Keepsand Privacy Notice

Keepsand is a search and referral service for Oak Island, NC vacation rentals. This notice explains what information we collect when you submit a booking request, and what we do with it. It is written to be clear rather than exhaustive.

What we collect

When you submit a booking request through Keepsand, we collect:

• Your name, email address, and phone number
• The property, dates, and party size for your request
• Any message you include with your request

We do not collect payment information. Keepsand does not process payments.

Why we collect it and how we use it

We use your information to:

• Send you a confirmation of your booking request
• Share your request with the property manager who manages the home, so their team can follow up to confirm availability and complete your booking

That's the extent of it. We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it.

Who we share it with

When you submit a request, we share your request details (your name, contact information, and the property and dates) with the property manager who manages the home you selected — for example, Oak Island Accommodations. The property manager handles the booking directly and under their own terms and privacy practices.

We also use standard service providers to operate Keepsand — for example, an email delivery provider to send confirmations and a database provider to store your request. These providers process your information only to provide those services to us.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone other than as described above.

How long we keep it

We keep booking requests for as long as needed to operate the service and follow up on inquiries. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).

Your choices

You can contact us to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to request that we delete it. We'll honor reasonable requests.
